If you’re frustrated about your hair, or wish you could have great hair like your favorite celebrities, there’s no reason to be sad. A personal professional hairstylist is not necessary in order for your hair to look healthy and attractive. You just need to know how to properly care for your crowning glory and it will look absolutely perfect each and every day

Regularly wash your hair. Fear that their hair might dry out causes some people to choose not to wash their hair every day.  This is incorrect. Your hair needs to be kept well hydrated and you can only do that by washing your hair regularly so that it can absorb eneough water to stay healthy. Another reason you should wash your hair more often is because dust and dirt adhere to your hair and scalp. Scalp irritation possibly leading to dandruff can be caused if these aren’t washed off and are allowed to build up.

Gentle treatment is necessary for your hair. Whether it’s caused by too much styling, exposure to the sun or too hot styling gadgets, your hair takes a daily beating. So your hair needs to be gently treated to lessden the damage that is done to it on a daily basis. You can start by towelling off your hair properly and using a wide toothed comb or detangler to comb it. Stretched, broken or split ends occur using an ordinary brushes or combs on wet hair.

Moisturise/Moisturise. Having subjected your hair to over styling and exposure to the elements, it is essential that you spend some time reviving it. Now go to the salon for a hot oil or wax treatment, or you can do this yourself at home. These treatments can be carried out on a weekly or monthly basis depending on the state of your abused hair You can have a moisturising mask to ensure your hair is moisturised all day, or a ‘leave on’ serum, the choice is yours.

It’s easy to neglect your hair and take it for granted. Make every effort to give your hair some TLC remembering that it’s your crowning glory.
